It is a two in one situation for Dr Shivarajakumar. It was his wish to visit ‘Dargah’ after he recouped from ill health a few years ago and promotional activity of ‘Shivalinga’ too. In the film ‘Shivalinga’ there is a Dargah sequence where actress Vedika is brought to relieve the devil power in her.

On Friday evening around 6.30 pm Dr Shivarjakumar visited Hazrath Tawakal Mastan Dargah in Chickpet Akkipete Main Road  in Bengaluru. It is from this place even the famous ‘Bengaluru Karaga’ also visit after it leaves from Dharmaraya Temple.


Dr Shiv was given traditional welcome. He made Pradakshine and sat on the sacred place and the sacred shawl was put on him. Dr Shivarajakumar like the true leader of Kannada cinema industry prayed for the good of the Kannada cinema industry. He mentioned in his address that this is very important place which he wanted to visit for a long time. Instead of asking for anything individually, I have prayed for over all good of Kannada cinema industry he said. Dr Shivarajakumar remembered his visit to Shivanasamudra Dargah at the time of shooting.


Producer of Shivalinga KA Suresh and KP Srikanth were present in the half an hour visit of Dr Shivarajakumar to Dargah.
